Hayley Shephard, Wilderness Guide, Author of South Solo: Kayaking to Save the Albatross (June 2012)

In 2010, Shephard was the first person to attempt a solo sea kayak journey around South Georgia Island, a Sub-Antarctic Island. Documented in her movie Soul of the Sea her journey also served to raise awareness of the plight of the Albatross.
